GRANDMA'S GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
10 sm. new potatoes 1 sm. onion, minced Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 c. boiling water 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar 1 tsp. sugar Mayonnaise With skins on, steam potatoes until just tender. Cool slightly. Remove skins and cut into thin slices. Place in bowl. Add onions and salt and pepper. To boiling water, add vinegar and sugar. Bring to boil again, stirring. Pour marinade over potato mixture. Marinate overnight in refrigerator. Drain. Add just enough mayonnaise to coat potatoes. Serve. |
