RICE AND MUSHROOM CASSEROLE 
3 sliced onions
1/4 lb. butter, melted
2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. uncooked rice
2 c. water
1 beef or chicken bouillon cube
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Mix together with remaining ingredients. Place in a greased 2 1/2 quart covered casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
