BRAIDS SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
2 sticks butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. each vanilla and almond

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. pecans

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with sour cream. Add flavorings. Grease and flour 3 (9 inch) cake pans. Pour batter among pans. Pour half of the topping mix over batter.

Cut into batter. Top with remaining topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Glaze with confectioners' sugar glaze.
