BRANDY BRAIDS 
1 1/3 c. unsalted butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. brandy
3 1/2 c. flour

In a bowl blend butter, 1/2 sugar. Add remaining sugar and brandy. Blend in flour; mix thoroughly. Place dough on a floured surface. Roll into thin lengths. Wrap lengths together in three like braids.

Cut each braid into 5-inch lengths. Shape into rings. Place rings on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until lightly brown. Remove sheets to a rack. Let stand 3 minutes. With a greased spatula, remove rings carefully. Yield: 5 1/2 dozen.
