2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
Pinch salt
4 egg yolks
1 c. chopped nuts
1 cake German sweet chocolate, finely grated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Mix all ingredients together and pour into loaf pan and bake at 350, 30 to 35 minutes. Use favorite chocolate icing.
