MELON FRUIT BOWL WITH PEACH
SHERBET
 
Fresh fruit and sherbet make a delightfully refreshing dessert.

Chilling time: 1 hour. Preparation time: about 20 minutes. Serves 6. 1/4 c. rum or tequila (optional) 3 c. raspberries & 3 to 4 c. blueberries, or 6 to 7 c. mixed berries 1 pt. peach sherbet

Chill melon and berries. Before serving, halve melon, serrate edges and remove seeds. With a round spoon, scoop pulp into bite-size pieces. Leave pieces in shells. Divide berries and rum between melon halves. Spoon bite-size scoops of sherbet over the fruit. Toss ingredients together. Place a half melon at each end of table. Bring spoons and bowls for serving.
