KENTUCKY HAM BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 (4 oz.) pkg. sliced cooked ham

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In large bowl with fork, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk, parsley, and ham; with fork, stir dough until just mixed. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop by 1/4 cupfuls, 1" apart, to make 12 biscuits. Bake 15 minutes or until golden. Serve biscuits warm.
