EASY GINGER DROPS | |
3 c. all purpose flour, sifted 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ground cloves 2 tbsp. ginger 3/4 c. butter or shortening 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c. dark molasses Heat oven to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. Cream butter until fluffy. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Mix well, then add molasses and flour mixture. Blend thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes (best timed). The dough keeps indefinitely in the refrigerator. |
