ORANGE-LEMON CLOUD PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1 env. (1 tbsp.) unflavored gelatin 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. milk 3 slightly beaten egg yolks 1 tsp. shredded orange peel 3/4 c. orange juice 1/2 tsp. shredded lemon peel 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 c. whipping cream, whipped 1 (9") baked pastry shell Combine sugar, gelatin and salt in saucepan. Add milk and egg yolks. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat; add juices and peels. Chill until partially set. Fold in whipped cream. Chill until mixture mounds when spooned. Pile into baked pie shell; chill. |
