HOT FUDGE SUNDAE CAKE 
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hottest tap water
Ice cream

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, the baking powder and salt in ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches. Mix milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes while warm, spoon into dessert dishes and top with ice cream. Spoon sauce from pan into each serving.
