SHERRY'S WHOPPER BROWNIES | |
BROWNIES: 1 cup butter 4 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped 1-2/3 cups sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup all-purpose flour FROSTING: 1/2 cup Carnation malted milk powder 2 tbsp. milk 3/4 cup butter, room temperature 2 cups confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted, cooled Malted milk balls Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 8" square baking pan with enough foil to overhang sides by 2-inches. Coat with cooking spray. In a microwaveable bowl, combine butter and chocolate. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in sugar and salt, beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour. Spread in pan, bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, but with moist crumbs. Cool 10 minutes, lift brownies from pan, cool on rack. FROSTING: Whisk malted milk powder into milk until blended. With mixer on medium speed, beat butter until fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Drizzle melted chocolate mix over brownies. Garnish with malted milk balls. Submitted by: Sherry Monfils |
