4 qts. corn, cut off cob
1/4 lb. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1 to 2 tbsp. salt
3 c. water

Bring butter, sugar, salt and water to boil, then add corn. Boil for 5 minutes. Cool and pack for freezing. Makes 8 pints.
