CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BARS 
1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft light caramels (about 50 pieces)
1 (5 oz.) can Carnation evaporated milk
1 German chocolate cake mix (if one with pudding, cook 18-20 minutes)
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips

Grease or spray a 9"x13" pan with Pam. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. Mix cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup milk. Spread 1/2 of cake mixture on bottom. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes (see above).

Remove from oven, sprinkle nuts, chips and spread caramel mixture on top. Spread rest of cake mixture over all. Bake 15 to 18 minutes. Cool before cutting. 3 to 4 dozen.
