1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. fresh apples, grated
1 c. nuts

Mix all ingredients. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in preheated oven at 325 degrees. Cool in pan. Use tube pan. Grease and flour to prevent sticking. Batter will be stiff.
