1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup honey
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream shortening and honey; beat in egg; add vanilla and sifted dry ingredients. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet 1 inch apart.

Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until brown.
