LITE CORNBREAD STICKS 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. yellow cornmeal
2 eggs
1 c. skim milk
1/2 c. applesauce

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Spray cornbread or muffin tins with cooking spray. Place in oven for 5 minutes to heat while preparing batter.

In medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cornmeal. In small bowl combine eggs, milk and applesauce.

Pour egg mixture all at one time into flour mixture. Stir all dry ingredients until moistened. Spoon into hot pans, fill to 2/3 full. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and repeat with remaining batter. Yield: 16 servings.
