STEWED PEAS - FAIAL STYLE 
2 to 3 tbsp. salad oil
1 med. onion, chopped
2 sm. tomatoes, chopped
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Dash of salt
1 tsp. pepper
Pinch of ground cumin seed
Leftover chopped meats (about 2 c.)
3 c. fresh peas (canned peas may be substituted but do not add water)

Heat oil; place onion and tomatoes into heated oil until slightly brown. Add parsley, garlic, salt and pepper, and cumin seed. Add peas and meat. Cover and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
