CHOCOLATE CHIPPERS 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. peanut butter
2 c. flour, self-rising
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir in peanut butter. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each scoop. Add chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen.
