FREEZER COLESLAW | |
1 med. cabbage, shredded 1 tsp. salt 1 carrot, grated 1 green pepper, chopped 2 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar 1 tsp. each mustard seed and celery seed Mix cabbage and salt. Let stand 1 hour; squeeze out excess moisture. Add carrot and pepper. While cabbage stand, make dressing by mixing sugar, vinegar, 1/4 cup water, mustard seed, and celery seed. Boil 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm; pour over slaw. Place in containers and freeze. |
