MASHED POTATO PIE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 egg 1 pkg. frozen French green beans 1 can cream of chicken soup 6 potatoes, mashed 1/8 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded Parsley flakes Combine beef, onion and egg (salt and pepper to taste) as you would for meat loaf. Line bottom of 2 quart casserole with mixture. In bowl, combine green beans with soup. spread over meat. Bake at 350 degrees until meat is done (approximately 45 minutes). Drain or spoon off grease. Cover with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and garnish with parsley. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
