HERSHEY BAR CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
8 plain Hershey bars, melted in double boiler with 2 tbsp. water (or 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar)

Cream butter and sugar. Add and beat eggs into the mixture (one at a time). Add the vanilla, salt and melted Hershey bars. Add flour and buttermilk mixed with the soda, alternately. Fold in nuts. Bake in greased angel food pan, 1 3/4 hours at 325 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Keeps indefinitely.
