1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 pkg. butterscotch chips
2 c. corn flakes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together first 4 ingredients. Blend in flour and soda, then the chips and corn flakes. Drop by tablespoonsful, 3 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
