HONEY ANGEL BISCUITS 
1 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. warm water (105~ to 115~)
5 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp. honey
Honey Butter (recipe follows)

Combine yeast and warm water. Let set 5 minutes. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until crumbly. Combine yeast mixture, buttermilk and honey. Add to dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Turn out on floured surface. Knead for 1 minute. Roll out to 1/2-inch thick. Cut with 2-inch cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until golden.

Makes 4 dozen 2-inch biscuits. Serve with Honey Butter.

Honey Butter:

1/4 c. honey
1/3 c. softened butter

Combine until well blended.

Makes 2/3 cup.
