TEXICAN PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 green pepper, sliced in rings
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. uncooked rice
2 tsp. cooking oil

Brown chops in hot cooking oil using a heavy skillet. Drain and place in 9x13x2 inch casserole dish. Add uncooked rice.

In separate dish, combine water, tomato sauce, taco seasoning and salt. Pour over chops and rice. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cheese and top with green pepper rings. Bake an additional 15 minutes.
