STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 2/3 c. coarsely chopped pretzels 3/4 c. melted butter 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip 1 lg. pkg. frozen strawberries 1 lg. strawberry Jello 2 c. pineapple juice Beat together cream cheese and sugar, then set aside. Mix pretzels and butter, then press in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool. Mix Cool Whip into cheese mixture and spread over pretzel layer. Dissolve Jello into hot pineapple juice. Add frozen strawberries and allow to partially jell, then pour over cream cheese layer. Put in refrigerator to set. Cut into squares to serve 10-12 people. |
