BRAISED SIRLOIN TIPS 
1 tbsp. oil
2 lbs. cut up steak
1 can beef consomme
1/3 c. cranberry juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 tsp. onion salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Brown steak in oil until brown. Add all other ingredients, except cornstarch and water. Simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours. Then add cornstarch mixed with water. Simmer 2 minutes longer until thickened. Serve over noodles or rice.
