CORNBREAD DRESSING 
1 loaf white bread (toasted) broken in about 1/2 inch pieces
About 2 cups corn bread (all corn meal) broken up well
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. rubbed sage
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
About 1 tbsp. or a little more minced or chopped onion
Some butter

Moisten well with water and some broth. Be careful not to get it too wet. Toss all together lightly. Put some in bird if you wish. But it is best cooked in a casserole. I always put some melted butter over top of cassrole.
