BEAN DIP 
7 lbs. refried beans
1/2 to 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 onion, diced (optional to taste)
1 to 2 tbsp. chili powder (optional to taste)
1 to 3 small cans or Tega green chilies (optional to taste)
1 jar salsa (your choice, mild or hot)
Tortilla chips
Crockpot

Put beans in crockpot. Stir in salsa and add 1/2 of cheese. Add any "optional" items. Stir again. Cover and turn on. Stir once or twice to heat thoroughly. One half hour before serving, add last half of cheese. Serve with tortilla chips to dip.

Easy for busy moms.
