SOUR CREAM BANANA BARS | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c. butter, soft 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (3-4 ripe) 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs on low speed for 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low speed 30 seconds. Beat in flour, salt and baking soda on medium speed 1 minute. Stir in nuts and spread in a greased 13"x9" pan and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool then frost. BROWN BUTTER FROSTING: Mix 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 to 4 tablespoons milk. |
