SWISS STEAK SURPRISE 
2 lbs. round steak
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 med. onion
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, undrained
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream

Pound steak to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into serving size pieces. Combine flour, salt, celery salt, and pepper. Dredge steak in flour mixture, reserving excess flour mixture. Brown steak in hot oil in large skillet. Add onion and mushroom, sprinkle with excess flour mixture. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 45 to 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream. Yield: 6 to 8 servings. Serve over rice.
