DOUBLE QUICK DINNER ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. Crisco

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Measure flour by dip, level, pour method. Stir sugar, half of flour and salt into yeast. Beat with spoon until smooth. Add egg and Crisco. Beat in rest of flour until smooth. Cover with cloth. Let raise in warm place 30 minutes. Grease 12 large muffin cups. Stir raised dough, spoon into muffin cups, filling 1/2 full. Let rise 20-30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen rolls.
