TURNIP GREENS 
1/2 tsp. baking soda
8 c. water
2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen turnip greens
1/2 gal. pork broth
1 tsp. salt
4 oz. ham bone, optional

Mix together baking soda and water. Dip turnip greens into soda bath. Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cook until tender, about 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
