QUICK COBBLER 
Fresh fruit or 16 to 20 0z. pkg. frozen unsweetened fruit
Sugar (to sprinkle on fruit if tart)
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Some milk to make a thin batter

Mix fruit, butter, and water on top of stove in baking dish and let come to a boil. Mix other ingredients and pour or "string" over fruit in a criss cross pattern. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.

Hint:

If cobbler is too dry or too juicy, adjsut water next time; it will very with type of fruit. Very good served with vanilla ice cream.
