COCONUT PECAN FROSTING 
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 stick of butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture becomes thick about 12 minutes. Remove from heat add coconut and pecans. Beat until cool and the consistency for spreading.

Makes 2 2/3 cups or enough to frost 2 (9 inch) layers all over.
