CHOC - OAT - CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts (optional)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.

Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
