CHICKEN WITH PASTA 
1 lb. linguine
2 boneless chicken breasts (cut in strips)
3 carrots, thinly sliced
Fresh broccoli (cut in bite-size pieces)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 stick butter
Salt
Grated Parmesan cheese

Boil water for linguine in large pan. Cook according to box instructions.

In another pan, steam broccoli and carrots.

In meantime, melt butter in fry pan on medium heat. Add crushed garlic. Next add chicken strips. Stir-fry for a few minutes until chicken is tender and done. Season with a little salt.

When linguine is done, reserve 1/2 cup of water and drain the rest. Put linguine in large serving bowl. Pour in reserved 1/2 cup of water. Add chicken with garlic butter. Add cooked vegetables and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve hot. 6 to 8 servings
