WHITE VELVET CAKE 
3 egg whites
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. self rising flour, sifted
1 1/2 c. sugar

Beat egg whites, Crisco, sugar and flavorings together well. Then add milk and flour alternately with first mixture beating after each addition. Grease and line two 8 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees. Frost with your favorite white icing and top with coconut.
