JAPANESE SKILLED CAKE 
1/2 c. b utter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sifted Swansdown flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. pecan meats
1 c. pineapple (sliced)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. melted butter
4 eggs

In a skillet, melt butter add brown sugar, then pineapple and nut meats. Sift flour once add baking powder sift three more times add well beaten yolks with sugar and butter. Fold in flour and add well beaten whites (not too stiff). Pour over mixture, cook at 325 degrees. Turn upside down serve with whipped cream.
