MOM'S MEATLOAF | |
2 lb. ground beef 2 eggs 15 to 20 crackers, crumbled by hand 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 cup steak sauce (I use A1) salt, to taste (optional) 4 tbsp. tomato sauce or ketchup (for topping) Preheat oven at 350°F. Mix together meat, eggs, crackers, tomato paste, steak sauce and salt (if using). Transfer meat mixture into loaf pan pushing down until all is evenly spread and pan is full. Top with 1/4 can of tomato sauce and spread evenly over top. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350°F for 3 hours. Remove foil for the last hour of baking. Note: Make sure to put another pan underneath to catch any spills while baking. Enjoy! Submitted by: Melissa S. |
