FAT-FREE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Cooking spray
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1/2 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
10x sugar (optional)

Spray a 9 inch square baking pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, soda, and salt. In a medium bowl, using a wire whisk, mix egg whites, water, and syrup. Add to flour mixture; stir until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack. If desired, sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Makes 16 servings.

Each serving provides: 0 g fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 130 calories, 2 g protein, 31 g carb., 140 mg sodium.
