MEATBALL STEW 
1/3 jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 lb. hamburger
2 onions, peeled (quartered)
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 carrot, cut into thick slices
1/2 can string beans
1 c. water
3 white potatoes cut into large pieces
1 tbsp. ketchup (optional)

Mince one onion and add to hamburger. Form meatballs. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in frying pan and brown meatballs. Set aside. In basket steamer, steam carrots, potatoes and rest of onions until tender.

In large kettle, add 1 cup water to spaghetti sauce (ketchup). Drain and add string beans. Add steamed vegetables when tender. Add meatballs bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes. 4 servings.
