JAM FRUIT CAKE 
1 c. peach preserves
1 c. strawberry preserves
1 c. blackberry preserves
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tbsp. cloves
1/2 tbsp. allspice
1/2 tbsp. nutmeg
3 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour milk
4 eggs

Sift flour, soda and spices. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add milk and flour mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Add nuts and jams. Bake in 3 pans at 345 degrees until done.
