GRANDMA'S TEA CAKES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour

Combine sugar and molasses and mix well. Cream butter with sugar. Add beaten egg, milk and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients. Add to mixture. Roll on floured board, cut with cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 mi minutes at 350 degrees.

NOTE: Dough will keep several days in refrigerator.
