2 to 3 c. brown gravy 1 lb. ground beef 1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs 2 tbsp. chopped onion 2 to 3 potatoes, cut up into sm. pieces 4 gingersnaps, crushed 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. wine vinegar Combine 1/3 cup gravy with the next 4 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Shape into 4 patties. Place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes; drain. Arrange potatoes around patties. Combine remaining gravy with remaining ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Pour over patties and potatoes. Bake covered for 20 minutes longer. Yields: 4 servings. |
