CABBAGE WITH HAM 
1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
1 c. slivered cooked ham
2 tbsp. butter
1 sm. head cabbage, shredded
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Fresh parsley

Saute onion and ham (cut into 2 inch strips 1/2 inch wide). Add cabbage, cover and cook 5-10 minutes or until just crisp-tender, time depends upon the tenderness of cabbage. Add salt and black pepper. Toss lightly. Serve at once garnished with fresh parsley. Yield 4-5 servings.
