JEWISH PENICILLIN 
1 cut up chicken
4 to 6 carrots
1 parsnip
1 med. onion
Fresh dill
1 cabbage leaf
1/4 jar Caramel instant chicken style soup mix

In large pot place 1 cut up chicken and 12 to 16 cups of water, depending on size of pot.

Add 4 to 6 carrots (depending on size) one large or 2 small parsnips, one medium onion, 1 sprig of fresh dill (if available) and one cabbage leaf (if available) 1 parsley sprig is good too!

Bring to a boil and skim surface of accumulated foam. Stir in about 1/4 jar of CARAMEL instant chicken style soup mix

Simmer until chicken is done. Remove chicken and vegetables to serve later in soup or in salads, etc.

After broth has chilled, skim off fat and freeze in required doses or serve to healthy people too.

The chickens today aren't as flavorful as in the past for soup purposes anyway and unless you want to go to the trouble of finding a Kosher chicken, I find this adds the necessary pizaz. Serve over favorite "luxion" (pasta), I suggest fine noodles.
