ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar

Should be Danish creamery or challange (I have used a less expensive of brand and it turns out just as good. 2 c. nuts, finely chopped

Get this ready first thing on cookie sheet; spread nuts on waxed paper.

Put butter and sugar (at the same time) in a cast iron skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is a caramel color. Pour this over nuts and place candy bars on top. Once they start melting, spread around and sprinkle more nuts on top. Pat down and let cool, then break into pieces.

Note: You will also want to get candy bars unwrapped and ready.
