AUNT PATTI'S CHEDDARY CHICKEN 
4 to 6 chicken breasts, boned if you like
Salt and pepper
1 pkg. frozen broccoli (optional)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 to 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Bread crumbs
butter

Flour chicken in bag with salt and pepper. Place broccoli in bottom of 9x12 inch casserole. Lay chicken breasts on top. Mix soup and mayonnaise. Pour over top of chicken. Sprinkle with grated sharp Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake for 1 1/2 hours uncovered at 325 degrees. Serves 4 or 5.

Chicken pieces (legs, thighs, or breasts--unboned) can be used.
