CRUNCHY CHEESERONI 
2 c. creamette macaroni
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (10 oz.) condensed tomato soup
1 can (10 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 green pepper, diced
1/4 c. pimento, chopped
2 c. Colby cheese, cubed
1 can (3 oz.) Durkee French fried onions (if desired)

Substitute 1/2 lb. each of bulk sausage and ground beef. Cook macaroni. Brown meat and drain. Add soups, green pepper, pimento and cooked macaroni. Place 1/2 mixture into greased 2 1/2 quart casserole, sprinkle 1/2 cheese and half of the onions. Top with macaroni and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
