WALLY'S NEW ENGLAND CORNBREAD 
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. milk

In small bowl beat eggs and mix with the sugar. In large bowl sift together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.

Combine melted butter, milk, egg/sugar mixture and stir into the dry ingredients. Beat quickly and pour into greased 8 or 9 inch pan.

Bake in 400 degree oven about 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown. Cut into squares and serve hot with butter or honey! 21 squares.
